Default My Warrior =)

Big picture (small file though)

I used a screenshot to draw this since its more about style than my own creation and it had to be accurate for it to look somewhat decent.
I've still got a few things here and there to fix up though.

Comments/criticisms (not too harsh ) are welcome

I really love this. Simplicity is so beautiful sometimes (too bad my own stuff is never simply ;_. I absolutely adore it when art leaves things implied instead of stated outright.

The somewhat funny part is that I never noticed just how horribly out of proportion GW females were (in terms of a thin torso) until I saw your drawing. It's weird how in one format your mind just kinda skips over the flaws, while in another they're suddenly seen anew. That, of course, has nothing to do with your art itself, but rather the screenshot underlying it.

I wish I had some sort of artistic talent. The most artistic thing I've ever done was build a giant robot out of Lego when I was 9.

congratulations...
and can i ask you to do the same thing with the gw logo?
it would make a really nice wallpaper!

EDIT:
what i have until now is this:

ps: i used a gray background because that is my default background color.
and i tried a "warrior orange" touch

With some help from duckman I also managed to make a wallpaper... The warrior looks a bit weird holding the sword on the left hand, but oh well... I might do a non-flipped version later.

If someone is going to use it, please note this is quite customized. As the small letters on the bottom say, it fits perfectly on a 1024x768 resolution, no XP Visual Styles (aka Windows Classic) and a constantly visible/fixed task bar on the bottom. (they are also perfectly hidden) It should look quite weird otherwise

Anyway, ...

Looking forward for the outlined GW logo, in case you feel like making it

Awesome. Proof that not all art needs to be heavy amounts of eye candy to look good. *thumbs up*

Thanks for the comments

I tried the same thing duckman and idnotfound did, it could use some work though.

Any suggestions? I'll probably try outlining the logo tonight or tomorrow

I changed my wallpaper thing too, but I still think it doesn't look right.
I'll keep playing around with it.

wonderful thread, wonderful art

Here is a version of the OP pic I did with photoshop filters and whatnot. I added the GW text to the backhand of the blade itself, so it looks neat. I have a blue one, green one, yellow one, and this one...
